• Both users navigated to the demo section on the vidyo website. 
  • Launched the sample app using the launch button
  • Both had the status displayed as connected but were not able to see each other.

What to try:

It is possible that you are using tokens generated from different API keys. All of the parties will be in the same room (Resource Id) if the tokens are generated from the same API key. Is each party that is connecting using the demo from their own login to Vidyo.io (and hence their own API key)? From the demo page, generate x amount of links (one for each participant), share a unique link (with a unique token) with each participant, and connect to the same Resource Id.

    Doesn't work as described above. When connected to the demo via laptop and iPhone -- both using the same 'join' URL still, laptop can see the iPhone camera feed but iPhone cannot see either own preview or laptop camera feed.

     

    Also, "From the demo page, generate x amount of links (one for each participant), share a unique link (with a unique token) with each participant, and connect to the same Resource Id." There is no such 'generate' link of button to generate unique links for each new user.

    Hi We had quite a lot of issues with your system recently 

    Especially since 3 days, people are on Chrome, they have very high speed connexion and they either cant join session (cant see coach and coach cant see them even if all micro and camera are set up correctly) or they are kick out in a middle of a session. In this very busy time you can understand that our customer service reputation is taking strength and I ask you to help with it and check it asap

    Please come back to us as we can't carry on reimbursing client for bad quality connexion with your system. Especially while Skype, zoom, Webex etc working extremely well

    Hi,

    Just wanted to share that we've also been experiencing a lot of issues and it started just a few days ago as well. For the past few weeks everything has been working great, and for the past few days (starting very end of March 2020) we get video calls constantly getting disconnected in the middle of the video call. Very randomly.  

    We are a children's hospital, and you can imagine these are critical times. 

    I have similar comments as Caroline above. Users have high internet connection, Patients are on Chrome, iOS or Android, Doctors only on Chrome. And after establishing a call, they get disconnected, either the patient or the doctor gets disconnected. No reason.

    On web, we've seen this error: 

    VidyoClient.js?  ERROR: VidyoClient: Execute Main Thread: VidyoClient.js?_=1585674111853:1: m.<anonymous>: StanzaXmppProvider: on Error - "Replaced by new connection"

    VidyoClient.js?  INFO: VidyoClient: Execute Main Thread: VidyoClient.js?_=1585674111853:1: t.Disconnect: ConnectionController: Disconnecting - "Media session ended"

    I'm hopeful that Vidyo can help us resolved this,
